walther knives

any views on walther knives,mainly the solace,i have one on order and was looking at fixing cocobolo handles to it.solid piece of 440a steel with nice home "custom" handles and a nice price.
any thoughts

I haven't seen the Solace model, but I checked out a Walther P99 Silhouette made in Italy. Piece of junk. :barf:
Anyway, the Solace looks like a nice neck knife following in the footsteps of the CRKT Stiff KISS MDP. I'm sure they're okay for the price, but what turned me off from them are the Applegate and Crawford ripoffs they sell like:

It could make a very interesting project for your first
stab(bad pun fully intended)at making your own.The blade is not
expensive,looks good,and should be fun.;if you do make it post it.
