Walther P22 Thread Adapters

Good morning knive-o-holics

Anyone knows if this little thingy can be bought in the US like buying a CD or gum? I mean, does anyone have to be registeres somewhere to buy it?
Does the $200 tax to Class 3 firearms apply to it?

I bought a P22 yesterday (FIRST GUN, YES!!!) and while surfing the net for data about it, I found this gizmo, and since I alwys wanted to to a lil research on gasses going out the barrel, this thing that allows me not to buy a second barrel and thread it is great.

I also like to know if the US prohibits its citizend to ship this thing overseas, since I dont want to ask my froend in the US to do it if its illegal.

Any input on that or on the P22 would be apreciated (I can't go to the firing range til saturday so I couldnt test teh gun yet!!)

No problems at all to purchase. The suppressor itself is the tax stamped item.

I've played with the Gemtech Walther suppressor and I gotta say, it's pretty F'n cool. They just started offering this system for the Glock G19 .22 conversion I have. I neeeeed one of these.
