Want a larger Native!

Any chance that Spyderco will be coming out with a Native in th 3.5-4" range?
I really like the blade profile for everday carry, but I always like to have 2 knives of the same ergonomics for carry. This allows me the option of carrying either a smaller or larger blade as circumstances warrant. As well, since the ergonomics are similiar - there is no fumbing when grabbing and thumbing one open.

My 2 daily carry knives are now an original plain-edge Delica and original 50/50 Endura.
The only other choices from Spyderco would seem to be the 2 Wegners, Calypsos or Police/Rookie.

Does anyone else rotate between large and small versions of the same model?
 
You might check some recent threads. I know there is at least one other person wanting one and Sal hinted that it might happen. I wouldn't expect anything too soon though. It sounds like they have a lot of irons (and SKUs) in the fire. I think the larger Native reference might have been in one of the favorite or ultimate Spyderco threads.
 
Yeah, Gwinnydapooh, O_D, and I (and probably several others) all want it.

Maybe if I hang around the table long enough in Atlanta, Sal might consider selling me the large "Native" and/or "MBCF" concept... Guy's gotta have some hope...

NOT FAIR SING!!! Hanging around at the show?! Although, if you talked Sal out of his one LARGE Native, maybe he'd HAVE to make a couple more. I wonder if we made enough noise, we could get a large Natve like MDP's <?> Worker 2000 concept?

Maybe some day my dream come true.
I love my Military, but the ergonomic of the Native is wonderfull and the blade design mades it an incredible versatile utility knife, so I think I would prefer a 3.5-4" native to my Military.
Take my vote too for the larger Native!!
 
I've never seen a Native (regular) in person, so I won't promise to by a large one just yet. But I will say this: if I like my BladeForums Blue Native as much as I suspect I will, I'll probably want a larger one too.

I agree 100% !!!!

The Native is my everyday carry, as well as my favorite Spydie and factory utility folder!!

I would buy a larger Native in a heartbeat!!!

 
Yeah, having played with a Blue Native, it is great! Also played with the Terzuola, wow another knive I have to have! Great size, blade shape is killer! Typical Sypderco quality.
 
Let me throw my voice in! I definitely want a <font size=8>Larger Native</font> and so does Kysa, according to a mutual friend. We're all hoping and praying. Sing, you seem like a nice guy but if you do talk Sal out of that prototype somehow, keeping it is a whole different matter!
