I bid on and won this fireman's axe on Ebay and received it today. This thing is HUGE. Over seven pounds and the head is 12" across. It is dull as a butter knife but that can be fixed...

I have no use at all for a fireman's axe but I just thought it looked cool.....the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys!

Anyway, the seller said that he thought it was a Warren brand from a sticker that was originally on the axe but he didn't want to actually put that in the wording of the ad since he took the sticker off when he refurbished it and now there don't seem to be any markings at all. Any idea of how I can get a brand confirmation? I guess it would be next to impossible since there aren't any markings to work with unless there is something there I have overlooked.

This one would have been a challenging purchase to explain to the wifey but luckily we have separate bank accounts.....definately makes for a happier marriage. :)

Keeping the bank transaction secret will be no problem, but surely your wife will notice that you've got a "HUGE" chopper!......:D

She already knows I have a 'huge' chopper but I would rather her not know that I have a new axe which I have no real need for :D
