I'm becoming interested in watches. (God help me) Where can I find a good FAQ? Terms like hack and caliber are new to me. I know knives, so who can equate watch brands to knife brands. Example:
CRKT=Timex
Ed Fowler=Rolex
Benchmade=?
etc. you get the picture
I'd like to start out with something for an EDC less than $200. I know that's nothing like the true belivers are interested in, but I didn't start my knife collection with a Hossom or a Mayo. Currently I'm wearing a Timex Ironman Datalink. I'd like something either quartz or kinetic. The diver's watches and chronographs appeal to me from a visual standpoint. I work a semi white collar job, but it's in a factory so I need something fairly robust, but not like a soldier in the field. My wrists are small so size is a factor. Alarms are nice, but not necessary. I know these questions are kinda vague, but I just wanted to start a dialogue with you guys who have taught me so much about knives.
