Does anyone other than Bushnell make waterproof binoculars, compact or fullsize, for under a $100 that are any good.

REI carries Brunton waterproof 10x25's for $99...shop around, you can probably beat that price. I don't have these binoculars, but I've been satisfied with other Brunton products.

I have a pair of Leupold 10x28 gold ring and they are very nice. I don't know what you want to spend, they run around $400, are waterproof and they have an awesome warranty at Leupold.
The warranty on the box is as follows;
If any Leupold Golden Ring Product is found to have defects in materials or workmanship, we will, at our option, repair or replace it. FREE. Even if you are not the original owner. No warranty card is required. No time limit applies.

Thats it. My dad has a 20 some year old gold ring scope from Leupold and this year it fogged up on him when we were deer hunting. When we got home he sent it to Leupold and they put all new lenses and gaskets and all it cost was $8.00 for the shipping.

i use a pair of tasco 'offshore' 8x25 binos that are waterproof, have coated lenses and offer a good image. they are a little larger than a standard pair of 8x21 compacts. they cost me £40 online, but i have recently seen them for less (again online). well worth checking out for the price.
