Wave/Charge bits obtained!

I got a pair of Tamper Resistance Torx Plus (size 10) bits! They fit my original Wave perfectly. They cost me a pretty penny though at $12 each plus shipping and tax. Go to buy1.snapon.com and search for part number TTXR10TPE2 . Enjoy!
 
Do you think they would work on the charge too? Looking at my original wave and my charge they seem to be slightly different sizes, but it is hard to tell. I have a regular Torx T15, which is the next size up they offer from a T10, but that looks too big.

The best way to tell is to take a mold using silly putty or clay or something. Looking at the pictures on equipped.org's reviews, I think they are the same size, but I can't be 100% sure.

When I looked at this picture here: http://www.equipped.org/pp/pic1364.htm I to thought that it was slightly bigger but I think its probably an optical illusion because the ones on the new Wave/Charge seems to be more rounded while the one on the original is completly flat. I'm not positive about this though. It might be easier for me to tell if I still had my old wave.

After doing some very crude image analysis (aka pixel counting), I'm pretty sure that all of the screws on the orignal Wave, new Wave and Charge are all Tamper Resistant Torx Plus size 10. I'm going to pick up a new Wave to "modify" so I'll keep you guys informed of any results.
 
You guys seem pretty excited about finally being able to take your Leatherman tools apart. I'm curious: exactly which blades/implements are you going to remove, and what are you planning to replace them with?

For a lot of us it isn't just to change pieces out, it is to be able to take the thing apart to clean it or tighten/loosen pivots. Basic maintenence that the owner should be allowed to do if they choose.
 
I'm hoping to replace the small screwdriver/bit-holder on the new wave with an awl.
