Just passed 500.

Anybody know if I'm supposed to submit myself to some sort of ritualistic pants-kickin'?

Or maybe initiation - like in high school?

That's a scene right out of the Fall of Mankind, after the nukes fly. Only the guy would be from the Government and he'd be registering all goods left intact for taxation, instead of selling insurance. But it'd be a good deal- he'd give you a few loaves of bread Congress had stashed in a bunker in exchange.

....if the world crashes because of terrorism, and we are thrown back into pre-industrial revolution times, do we really want Congress and their families to sire a new world? The Federal govt has provisions for just such an event...the civil service must continue

...the bread was way past expiration date, so they figured any ergot fungus on it would simply be aborbed by the population in hallucinations and plague, no big deal.
