Let me first state that I'm a fan of all metal handles. Nothing wrong with G10, but I still consider a full metal handle as excellent for harsh use.

What I noticed on several Spyderco models is that the all-steel version is usually very heavy and the surface too smooth for wet hands. Bead blasted titanium would solve those problems.

So, what are the chances of getting titanium handles on selected models (i.e. Police, Endura, Calypso, or MILITARY. Carbon Fiber is nice, but a Military with rolling lock and titanium handles?)

Greetings Ralf. Just for the record I believe there was a Ti scaled Police model some years back. If there was, and any corrections are welcomed, someone surely has one out there.

But the answer to your question is CHECKERING! Please go to my recent thread "Checkering on Micarta Scales...Sal?"

FYI, there was a titanium police. ATS-34 blade. I have seen used ones in the range of $230 - £300. Keep an eye on The Cutting Edge Page www.cuttingedge.com
