I need some help guys. Due to some medical insurance cost it looks like I am going to be forced to sell two knives that I thought I would never have to sell. But I don't know what they are worth. The first is a new in box Small Sebenza Classic Wood Inlay with Macassar Ebony. There are a couple of special things about this knife. 1.The box is signed by all people working at CR Knives in 2002 including Chris and Ann. 2.A personal note from Bridget stating that Chris Reeve personally put the final edge on(sharpened) this knife. 3. Two leather costers with the Chris Reeve stamp and signed by Chris. The other knife is a new in box Panda Gold Coin. I appreciate your help. Thank you. rick45acp@yahoo.com

Jeez...I feel like we should start a collection so you don't have to sell that Sebenza. It sounds like you're having shitty luck and that you're having to get rid of something dear to you. I'm sorry, man.

I feel bad for you too!! I too feel like we should also take up a collection for you as well. I am unemployed, but I would chip in. There has to be something that can be done!! You should NOT have to sell that knife!!

I'm a little overwhelmed by your generosity and willingness to help but I'm not prone to accept even well intended charity. I would rather just do what I have to do. But thank you so much for your kindness and consideration.

Last a saw a Panda on eBay it went in the $750 range. I think it would go for more now as there seems to be increased traffic and interest from collectors in China the last few years, at least on this website.

I'd expect to take a hit on the small Sebenza, the classic inlays are fairly common even with the extra paperwork. You might get a little extra interest if you offer to throw in a coaster with either knife, those are nice little extras that would knudge a knife knut into buying.

Hey! Keep foul language in W&C or The Cove please!

The final run in the Gold Coin Sebenza series was the 2003 issue at $775.00. Beside the equisite beauty of the Chinese Panda coins, the 2001 Panda Sebenza was IMO one of the most outstanding and beautiful designs out of the whole series of seven GC Sebenzas. And have you seen the price of gold lately?!!!

Do you have a picture of this knife? I am dying to see what it looks like.
