Well what are you other knife Knuts doing while John is away? We are finally getting a little spring like weather out here in the frozen tundra.

I have the pass around Scandi, so far I have done a little kitchen work with it but maybe if the weather holds up, I an get out Friday and do a little wood work with it. I think this little Scandi makes a good EDC and I can see one in my collection soon.

We have been seeing hot weather here in Central Illinois - too hot for this time of year already!

I have been busy working on motorcycles and also on my job we have been busy - I will be working the next three weekends doing upgrades (computer stuff).

I just got a phone with the internet on it - but I cannot type with it very well so I only read pages with it so far, but I can now check into Stomper's site from almost anywhere!

I'm sitting in Denver waiting for a load so I can make some money. I spent a few days at home a week ago doing some hiking, canoeing etc. That was a lot of fun.

Jim, how did things go in Minneapolis? I've kinda been worried about you.
 
Mqqn where in central illinois are you? I am in Springfield more or less.
But it has been warm around here. We have been doing a lot of yard work and getting the garden ready to plant. But now it is to wet to even put in my potatoes.:(

I`m still in the Nashville area, having a blast! Tonight we are going to a winery owned by Kix Brooks of Brooks and Dunn. He is giving a short concert and signing bottles of wine, Connie is thrilled!

That sounds like fun. Good to hear you guys are having a good time.
 
Things are pretty unsure yet on the tests in MN. I have a appointment with my regular doctor in about ten days to go over the findings. Meanwhile I had a Prostate flare up that landed me in the hospital for four days. Right now, I am not doing the best. Sure hope that everyone else is doing better.:thumbup:

I am hoping to get back on track as spring gets to this damn place. We Have,

1 Almost winter
2 Winter
3 Still winter
4 Fourth of July

Yep, four seasons.

My daughter did get us tickets to the Gatlin Bros show in Sioux Falls, We really enjoyed it.:thumbup:

From what little I know and what else I can guess, you're tough enough to beat whatever ails you. Take care of yourself, Karen and I will keep you in our prayers.
If you find a good restaurant that serves good Knoephla soup in the area, have some for me. That is the one thing I really miss about North Dakota.:thumbup:
 
Good stuff! I hope I get to travel through there soon. It's been too long.

Let's see... what have I been doing...

1. preparing lawyer-type paperwork 'cause I am being sued

2. contemplating my job future as I have discovered my immediate boss and some home office personnel are out to get me

3. debating which of John's knives are going to accompany me on vacation at the end of the month. It'll probably end up being all of them.
 
The concert was great! It lasted over two hours with only seats for 200. We were way in the front, and got to meet Kix before the concert, it was very informal. We had him autograph a bottle of wine, and I took a pic of him with Connie, she was as excited as a teenager! Defineatly made it all worthwhile seeing her face. Will post the pics when we get home.
 
Sounds like a lot of fun. Glad to hear it.
 
Glad to hear that you guys had a good time. Awesome that you got to meet Kix.
