What was the most expensive knife you ever lost/& maybe found?

Benchmade Mini Reflex(Found in basement 5 yrs. later)

Most Often Lost,

That would be a toss up between Benchmade Eclipse, and Rocky Moser Woody, Mini- Auto(Lost and found them about 5 times each)

And last but not least, any MIA'S?

Spyderco Howard Viele, MIA 2 yrs replaced 2 years later.

:) :)

Lost my 910 HS when I fell asleep on the couch one night. At the time it was my only blade, so I was freaking out. Finally I looked between the cushions and there it was. I was a happy camper.

Well, lost some, found some. Heres the list:

REKAT Carnie Cub- lost 4+ months ago. Found today.

Supertool- lost 6+ months ago, found recently. Coincedentally, about 3 weeks after I bought the Supertool 2000 to replace it.

CRKT Bear Claw- lost before I moved (about 3 weeks). Still no sign.

Others have lost, but they were cheaper, or unused, and not so missed (except they could be traded). Oh well.

BLACKWATCH,
It was your thread made me ask the question, got me to wondering what was still missing from my EDC's, I've been told if you don't carry them you'll never lose them. Where's the fun in that?

I lost a SAK I was fond of while turkey hunting a few years ago. It's replacement was what got me really started on knifeknutdom.

Actually, I lost a Kershaw Chive last night while I was wrestling at a park with a friend. Along with that, I also lost my Zippo lighter.

Bummer lost my BM AFCK, put it in my pocket, found a hole in my pocket, no knife. Now where was the last place I remember seeing it? If I knew that I'ld know where the knife was. Better check the sofa monster.

My little AirSOG in the attic while I was putting in some insulation... Then more was sprayed in ... At least it's warm...

My Victorinox Camping model SAK. I found it in a basement box 3 years later... right where I had packed for safekeeping...

I Lost a MOD Trident that was approximately one hour old. The big Brown truck just delivered it, opened the box and fired it a few times and then clipped it to my pocket. One hour later while walking around Sam's Club, I reached in my pocket and found LINT:eek:  :(

To this day, THAT day absolutely stinks:( :( :( .....Ira

Lost and found-SAK military and Gerber multitool. I use these all the time, and of course when I replaced them with identical models, I ended up finding the origionals. MIA- I've been going nuts trying to find a small bone handled Case knife that I bought almost 25 years ago.

You know what is kinda funny? Thinking of all the Knon Knife Knuts walking around with high end or at least quality production knives that they happen to find when a Knut loses one (like Wolfmann). Seems like you do not hear of any Knuts finding these "lost" specimens. I guess odds are that it will get found by a knon knut. Sad thing is they probably do not realize what they have. That Trident is probably running around in the pocket of some shopping cart jockey at SAMS. It never gets lubed or cleaned. Just taken out to show what a cool "weapon" the dude found. Kinda depressing really.

:( Consider this, maybe they're using it as as a throwing knife, or maybe a scraper. Maybe its in the bottom of some ones tackle box. Or hold for the best and hope the person who found it will admire it, take care of it, and maybe, just maybe, they'll start collecting them selves, and if they do that, then maybe they'll lose one too, and I'll find it :) My luck it'll be from Pakistan.

Left my Spyderco Michael Walker Lighweight on a bench after using it to cut open a package of lunch meat.

It was an expensive loss, since I replaced it with an Almite Walker, which I upgraded to a CF Walker!

About 6 years ago I lost a fully serrated Spyderco Endura at Wal-Mart. I remember taking it out to cut something and then I didn't have it when I got home so I guess I laid it down somewhere and didn't pick it back up.
Then about a year ago I lost a BM 705 at a party. Never found either one of them. :( Thats my luck though, I have never had any luck at anything.

I have lost about a dozen swiss army knives. Before pocket clips I lost an Al Mar pocket knife at a party it was never found. I bought another Al Mar and I lost that knife again for about a month. Then I found it while I was cleaning the interior of my car.
