I think the reason we'll never see one is that there are already several great manufacturers of traditional pocket knives out there. Case and Great Eastern come to mind immediately.

That's a very good point. On the other hand, there are already several great manufacturers of locking pocket knives too.
If they made one would you consider purchasing it?

That's a purty thing. And yes, I would indeed buy one if ESEE turned another one out. I'd actually get that before I would the 3/F.
Wouldn't it be cool if they made a TL-29. It sure would make a great companion to the new laser strike!!!
