We all know what the rest of you guys carry how about a little insight into what your other half carries.

My wife, Christina, carries a Blue Spyderco Salsa that I just bought for her clipped to her purse and a new Sufefire E1e. She liked my E2 so much that she wanted one of her own only smaller. She has hinted that she would like a small Sebenza so I am working on that for her for Christmas.

My wife can't carry to work, so hers stay in the car most of the time. She has a REKAT Pioneer II and a CRKT KISS. In the house, she has a small SAK.

My wife carries a Cold Steel push dagger for personal defense and CRKT "claw" style blade for utility work.

My wife has a choice of three pieces...all necklace knives but one; one Moki abalone, one Japanese tiny folder in Black Pearl, a Spyderco Titanium and a Hiro 2.5 inch with abalone inlays. She mainly tests paper, her job doesn't require anything a scissors cannot handle and I'm around outside of work with my EDCs.

Regards Bernard

For a long time my wife carried a serrated Endura. I bought her a Civilian which she loved, but said it was too heavy fo her purse. I liked her carrying that for defense. But I bought her a Q when they were about to stop making them, and she loved it. She carries it everyday.

Well... my girl carries a Buck Mini-Mentor for now... also, sometimes a Leatherman Wave I think. (its hell being states away, cant even actually see a pretty girl with her knives to know what she carries for sure. :()

Pretty soon tho, she'll have a nice custom to carry. 6 inch tanto point blade, 5 inch cord wrapped handle, integral guards. Made from 3/16" thick 154-CM. Made with love and affection by yours truly.

Also, this is a sort of repayment for a kindness, I'm working on a hawk-bill necker for her as well, same steel as above (altho its going to be surface ground to get it a tad thinner, weight issues).

Hehehehehe... her b-day is coming up... and she might have something else to carry soon as well... but she's just gonna have to wait to see... cause I coulda just gotten her a book or sumthin :p

My wife carries a Kershaw Ken Onion Black Chives. I offered to by her any knife she wanted (production that is) and this was her pick. She's now getting into collecting slipjoints.:) Life is good...

My wife has carried one of my chainsaw chain damascus neck knives since Christmas. Before that she carried a small Ogg folder my Step-Dad made her several years ago. The other day she talked me out of my Tai Goo neck knife with twisted silver wire bindings and cactus skeleton handle. Now I have to make her a sheath for that so she can carry it in her purse. Sheesh, I can't keep nuthin nice. But I get my little necker back and that's a plus. He he.

My wife took a liking to a Buck Odyssey comboedge. I have no idea why, but that is the one she wanted. She used to hate even the word knife. Now she takes the Buck everywhere. I can't complain.

My wife is, to say the least, not into knives. I bought her an SAK many years ago, before we were married, but she never carried it, never even opened it. I love my wife, but we are just never going to have a "meeting of the minds" when it comes to knives.

I bought my wife one of those translucent blue Swiss army knife classics. She keeps it on her key chain, and uses it quite often. Can't get her to carry anything bigger, yet.

Daniel, it must be the things with guys name Dan that they carry translucent blue Classics:D My wife uses hers for everything, eventhough she is not really into knives. One of these days I will get her something bigger to carry, but right now that is it.

Dude! I hope we're not secretly married to the same woman, 'cause that's exactly what my wife carries, right down to the color! :D

She likes to carry it on her keychain with one of those leather pouches so she can take it out to do her nails, cut string, etc. without the keys getting in the way. Very handy.

She always has her small SAK. Not the Classic, but about that size but more blades. Also usually carries a Running Dog Lil' Camper in BG-42 with blue diamond wrap cord handle. Her twin Audra Draper daggers are only carried on special occasions.

My wife carries a first generation Gerber bolt action. She admired it when I bought it and I gave it to her about 16 years ago. Been trying to get it back ever since. Recently she caught sight of my Spyderco Jess Horn w/micarta handles and dropped some strong hints about that. The thing is I don't want to trade the Spydie for the Gerber. Dang. Well at least she carries a decent knife and hasn't lost it.

My girlfriend carries a CRKT kiss, the tiny peck version. She carries it in her purse and sometimes clipped to her pocket, she uses it to open her mail and cut boxes at work. I tried to get her to carry something a little bigger but she is too fond of the little CRKT and won't give it up.

Right now the wife is carrying a CRKT m16-02 (law enforcement). It used to be a GT mini-auto, a Syderco Q, mini-leatherman. She tried to get my EDI when I first got that. She also carries a Taurus, soon to be a Glock.

My wife used to carry a Victorinox "Classic" SAK and a small box cutter since she used them for work. The airlines have just kept whittling her down so she now won't carry anything sharper than an emory board. Before 9/11 she talked her way onto an airplane with a 4"-bladed Mora hunting knife that had been accidentally left in our carry-on suitcase. Since 9/11 the box cutter and Classic are gone from the purse. On her last trip back from Dallas they confiscated her small nail clippers, folding scissors, and nail file out of her travel kit. She's starting to get really pissed.
