What else to go with my new sharpener?

I just ordered the GATCO professional sharpener.

What other stones should I get to complete my package? All other stones with higher grits I will order will be freehand stones. I want to learn how to free hand but also want the simplicity, while I learn, of the GATCO.

I REALLY like the look, and reviews of Jap. Waterstones. Which ones and which grits?

I have the GATCO Professional. I know you said you are going to add free hand stones but with my kit I added the extra fine and ultimate finishing hones from GATCO.

I also added leather strops loaded with white and red polishing compound.
 
If you get a good set of bench stones, the only thing you need to get to go with it is a box of Band-aids.
