What is the warranty on the REKAT knives?

I just joined the club with you all! I got my first REKAT blade and its the Sifu! Very nice knife, just perfect for my overseas travels. I was wondering what is the warranty like on these fine knives? Is it a lifetime warranty or what. Any information would be helpful.

What would Uncle Bill think if he knew we were buying "other" knives.

I have wanted the Sifu for a while (Jim you showed it to me at the show once, remember?) but the serrated handle (no that's not a typo, that's the way it fels to me) jsut didn't work for me. Now here comes Mike and Bob with their Sifu Mark 2000, and in D-2 no less! 'Course I had to order one. This will be my first REKAT.

Whoa. So I'm not the only HIKV addict that finds REKAT craftsmanship soothing to his nerves.

Anyway, I have a pocket hobbit and sifu. Love them both. I have nothing but good to say about the knives and REKAT service. Honestly, I have no idea what the warranty is though.

I guess we all show up where quality blades seem to be. Jim, I have not had any problem with my Sifu, but I just wanted to know just in case. Nice to see you guys here!

Have a Fang, a Utility,a Carnie & a Pioneer i fine tuned to my specs.Anything i can help you with just let me know!

"Fine tuned?" So, what do you do Jim? Handle reshaping, lockwork? I've heard that the older REKATs had gritty locks, but that the new Sifus seem to be very smooth. My Sifu will be perfect when it arrives, of course, but I'm just interested to know what kind of work you did.

Pioneer is my work,"do all" knife! Did like others, took it apart!Did this more than once to see what else i wanted to do after polishing & ck. each part.I like a knife i can fix instead of sending it back!
Carnie is OK, but i like the Pioneer!

There're so many heretics from HI forum here...

I had two problems with my sifu. A slight rattling of the blade stopper pin, which was instantly fixed with a fingertipful of epoxy. The other is, well, right side of my pants is always a little lower than left side.

Hehe... another HI/REKAT fan checking in -- BA, I can't answer your warranty question directly since none of mine (currently Sifu, Carnivore & Fang NK) have needed repair. However, if you browse the archives, I'm sure you'll find plenty of satisfied customers. Enjoy your Sifu!
