is that one on the right?

The design, the slabs. It's a mysterious beauty!

I'm probably the LEAST qualified to guess on these sorts of things, but it looks like it started as maybe an SFNO blank? The talon hole looks like about the right place for the lower talon hole on the SFNO.

The cool bolo I am drooling over looks like a similar idea, maybe it began life as an NMSFNO?

Yep, and some nice looking marco bolo's at that....

The one at Knob Creek looks like it's got the nuclear meltdown to boot. Thats just sweetness...

dingy,
There may be a Ganza if there are enough left from the show but I suspect that the main reason to offer many blades unavailable elsewhere (and at great prices) is to get people to GO to said shows. Some day I'll make it to one.

Loks like a Marco Bolo variant to me too. pretty nice.

I second this notion...if you want to make shows a success and get people off their lazy butts, then you need to offer the GOODS!! Why would I drive 200 miles if i could order it from my comfy-a$$ couch, ya know mang?!

It looks a lot like my SFNO/SOW variant with the handle treatment of a Marco Bolo and Terror Monkey camo. I hadn't realized that relationship with the MB handle and the SF parent until seeing this.

I have thought ever since I first saw the marco bolo that they were made from the sfno blanks.

Still do.:)

Yep, I hadn't really put it together before today, but seeing some of them side by side, I'm definitely convinced.

I still think that other one looks like it's got a bit of the meltdown treatment on it... and if it doesn't, that would be an AWESOME idea. Make a marco bolo but start with an NMSFNO blank instead of an SFNO. You could even make it longer to boot.

Talk about a grail knife.

No question the MB is a SFNO blank. It lays right over a SFNO perfectly. I like it a lot. I sorta wish it was NM'd (the edges on the rear talon hole are pretty aggressive feeling) and that may prompt a trip to the spa at some point on mine. Just to make it as comfy as the hand-shaped handles.
