Hi there,
I've recently become a fan of EKI and have bought several, all of which are excellent and I use daily. Here is my dilema, my Commander has a some play in the blade the liner seems to slide over a little when I exert force on the top of the blade. I feel certain it would not collapse as I have stabbed various things w/ it to test it. Thing is can't decide to send it back for a fix or not. I'm kinda concerned w/ how long it'll take to get it back (I've had verrrry long waits w/ other companies) and as is this is the only larger folder I have for duty right now and just hate to wait for very long. Any input would help. Also if anybody wanted to do a quick trade for it for a Specwar-B let me know)

Disector,

I very recently sent a Commander with a flaw to EKI for fix/replacement. Time from my door to their's and back.....about 10 days (and that includes UPS both ways and weekends). Do not hesitate to send yours, as far as I am concerned, their customer service is #1.

Do not address the package Emerson Knives, Inc. Address it "EKI."

Some folks have reported stolen knives, most of this has been from packages sent via U.S. Post Office, however, UPS has a serious theft problem which they used as an excuse to start demanding Overnight Shipping for Handguns.

They are either incapable of addressing their Employee Theft problems or they are unwilling to do it.

And the same goes for a knife...

Disector,

Please send your knife back to us. I would rather know that there is nothing wrong with the knife than for you to question it's function when the chips may be down.

I will keep an eye out for it.
