Depending on the dimensions of the blade...
if the medium Carson is roughly 3", I'll take that one because I found that size is just a joy for me to carry.
 
I would actually like both!:)

If I have to choose only one, I would take the Ralph EDC, just looks a little nicer to my eyes. But both seem to be great knives.

I voted for the DDR EDC. I just got a Camillus EDC and would love to be able to get the real thing. I find the work of DR to be some of the nicest to my personal eye. I have just ordered a Camillus Madd Maxx for the same reason.One day I will work my way up to the real thing.
 
If I had to choose only one from either of these great guys. I would have to flip a coin. You could not go wrong with either choice.
 
But that's mostly because I already have one great knife from DDR, a small Apogee and nothing from Kit, yet. Also, as much as I like my Apogee, I think that a simple drop point or clip point is more useful for EDC than a recurve.
 
I chose the Carson, just because I like the looks a little better at the moment. That could change any time. I don't think you can go wrong either way. Looking at the poll numbers, I don't think we're much help with the decision. :)
 
I voted for the Carson because I own one but Darrel Ralph's knives are every bit as nice as Carson's and the choice here is merely one of preference and not quality.
 
I voted for the DDR EDC because, all other things being equal, I much prefer the frame lock to the liner lock.
 
I voted for the Carson. Mainly because I had an EDC IBL and later sold it because I preferred Darrel's carbon fiber EDC. A medium M4 in 420V is currently at the top of my list as my next folder acquisition.
 
I just love the design of DDR's knives. I like the recurve, and the handle shape is more "sexy" than the Crawford. Purely a cosmetic preference, though.

I am a big fan of both these makers, but vote is for the Carson. It was close though. I just love the overall shape of the Model 4.
 
Ok guys I made my decision. I just bought a brand spanking new medium Carson Model 4 today. Here she is http://www.arizonacustomknives.com/carson-kit.htm (Last knife on the page, model number 4338.) The Carson one me over with it's slightly larger size, it's carbon fiber handles,and clip point blade.

Although you all made this decision very hard for me:p , I appresiate your votes and input. Thanx again

Can't go wrong with Kit.

I almost got the 4319 above it. Nice set, eh?

I think the 4318 above it would have made for a better set being the same steel. I don't have the funds though. I wish customs grew on trees....:)
