I have a #2, with the clasp, and it grips the knife really, really firmly.
3V takes a great edge, I polished it up to 8000 grit, followed by a loaded strop and 0.3 micron film... but I also rolled a little bit of that edge when I smacked the clasp yanking the knife loose. It sharpened out easily, I just wish I hadn't clumsily damaged it 6 hours after opening the package.

Oh, and anyone worried about it getting damaged, please understand I had this edge hair whittling sharp. With no separate primary grind/microbevel on a scandi, a 25 degree included edge was going to take damage from direct impact against another piece of steel. The fact the 3V didn't chip is pretty cool.
