what's a good way to break in the bushcraft sheath?

I have a #2, with the clasp, and it grips the knife really, really firmly.

3V takes a great edge, I polished it up to 8000 grit, followed by a loaded strop and 0.3 micron film... but I also rolled a little bit of that edge when I smacked the clasp yanking the knife loose. It sharpened out easily, I just wish I hadn't clumsily damaged it 6 hours after opening the package.

*kicks self*

Oh, and anyone worried about it getting damaged, please understand I had this edge hair whittling sharp. With no separate primary grind/microbevel on a scandi, a 25 degree included edge was going to take damage from direct impact against another piece of steel. The fact the 3V didn't chip is pretty cool.

Mine was very tight also, but playing with it a while loosened it up a lot. When I push it all the way into the sheath, it still grips tight. I put a lanyard on it to get it out easier.

yeah, I think I've almost chipped out enough of the welt, draws a bit easier now. thanks.
