Which is better Cutco or Spyderco?

My friends sister and I are arguing. She used to sell them and I live by my Spyderco. Tomorrow we are going to test but I want to know if I stand a chance. If I win she will buy me a knife, but if I lose I have to buy one and I don't want to spend more money.

So what can I come to expect? I have a spyderco native 3-D but I don't know what cutco she has.

I sure hope I win.

I'd expect that both knives will become extremely dull after cutting through those test bricks.
You can present the obvious to some people and they simply can't grasp it...don't bother getting into a pissing match with such a fool.

I don't know about those other knives - but use a spydie with the
VG-10 steel and you should have a good shot.

Depends on what you're testing them on, the size of the Cutco knife, among other things. Aren't the Cutco knives serrated?

For the dollar, I'm sure that Spyderco completely and utterly whips Cutco. In the quality department, as well.

dont know man, i dont have a spiderco but i do have a bunch of cutco kitchen knives and they are pretty good for kitchen knives. some are serated some are not. I have the second largest butcher knife they have and it is amazing. One of the cutco salesmen came to my house a while back, (friend of my moms) asked me to pull out the best knife on me. i pulled out my cold steel desperado fully serated. we did the manela rope cutting thing and glad to say the Cold steel smoked the cutco but the cutco wasn't serated.
