Thanks for all the responses that I've been getting for small fixed blades. There are just too many beauties out there. I've never tried carrying a knife IWB. So I looking for peoples opinions on IWB carry. I know its not the same(thickness), but I've found IWB for a pistol too be pretty uncomfortable. I liked the idea of putting knife and sheath in pocket of jeans. Is 4" too much for EDC inside waistband? Would it be much different than a 3" blade.
I've been carrying folders, currently either an Emerson commander or a Benchmade CQB 975 (3&7/8")blade. Both fairly large folders. Want to try a fixed blade and would like to get one that isn't too small but concealable.
Thanks all for the help.

I just wanted to add: the trick is to find the right place on your body to carry IWB. I like carry at about 11 or 1 o-clock canted to match the juncture between thigh and groin. This is a very natural carry for me whether seated or standing.

It would probably depend on the knife and how you feel comfortable.
I carry the CRKT companion slightly less than 3 o'clock position. It's alright. The handle sometimes jab into me, but I suspect the sheath from Eric from On-scene tactical would help.

I have found that carry a fix blade IWB is much more comfortable then carrying a firearm. If I can't carry a pistol then I replace it with a Camillus CQB2 (under 4" blade) or carry a Spyderco Calypso JR around my neck. Not matter what I carry at least one folder in my front lower cargo pocket.

I have to say my favorate method for concealment is around the neck with the blade down my back.

I know you are all gunna think im nuts but i have been known to carry my CS Recon Tanto(7" Blade) IWB, the trick is finding your sweet spot, between groin and thigh as stated above.

My most comfortable IWB rig is a Fallkniven F1 in a Concealex sheath by Normark. It can be adjusted in a variety of ways to fit your preference. Next fav is a CS Voyager.

IWB is my favorite form of carry. As a couple of people have stated, the trick is in finding the sweet spot for the particular knife, your body style, and type of draw (reverse or standard grip). The size of the knife is another factor in finding the best spot for concealment, but don't limit yourself to smaller blades, 'cause you'd be surprised at how many people are sporting blades well above 10" in length, and you will never know it. I'm 5' 9", and can easily carry a Bagwell Hell's Belle in shorts and a t-shirt, sit down to eat a meal in a restaurant without anyone being the wiser. It just takes a little experimentation and the right carry system.

A big ditto on what Mike says! I have been looking for it and had to "bump" him to see if it was there. I'm a little bigger than Mike and using his Southern Comfort rig to carry a big Bowie is no problem at all.

4"-5" blade is as big as I carry IWB, normally. On special occasions I go bigger.

I certainly don't want to carry anything larger than one of the more important parts of my anatomy.:D ;)
Seriously, though,as far as folders go, a 3.5" to 4" folder usually sits quite comfortably IWB in the usual 45 degree angle position. This is a very individual thing depending upon one's unique physical parameters. It involves some experimentation.
Sometimes it can be surprising. A recently-acquired BM 806, a large folder, fit IWB so well I was hardly aware of it during an entire day of sitting and standing.
