The torsion bar in my Friend's Cyclone broke, and the Excellent Staff at Kershaw (Dawn, etal.) sent me the proper replacement. All in the World is good again, until we realize that we're missing a pin, which sits between the liners, and acts as a blade stop. So, I contact Kershaw, and ask for a replacement, and I received two Thumb Studs. I figure I asked for the wrong thing, but wanted to check in with my Kershaw brethren to be sure of what the part is called, before I contact Kershaw for the proper replacement. The pin fits into the hole outlined in the photo. What's it called?

Thanks everyone, and thanks to Kershaw. I haven't experienced excellent customer service like this in a loooooong time!

It's the hole for the blade stop pin. It's been a while since I've had my Cyclones apart, and I can't remember if they're the same size for the Cyclone and the Mini Cyclone. Make sure you tell her exactly which model you have.

And look under the refridgerator...that's where all of my "lost" parts wind up! Either there, or my lab has eaten them the second they hit the floor...:D

When your lab eats them do you look for them.......well, you know where :D

No, I call Dawn :D:D

Ah... I see where I have gone wrong. I'll have to get her number on speed dial and throw away my dog doodoo sieve. It really was starting to get kinda old and it makes pasta day kinda a Russian Roulette type of affair.....:D

Well, she's not the only one I've had to call. When she was younger (my dog Roz, not Dawn), she used to eat just about anything laying around...including empty plastic coke bottles, empty beer cans, and a shot glass or two...

Mental note to self: question Spiral's invitation when invited over for italian....

Cool, thanks for the replies. That's exactly what I asked for. I'll call Dawn tomorrow.

I know, I know, typical jonnymac hijack!!!:D, but....when my golden retriever was young he came to me one day with a bit of dental floss hanging out of his rear end. I tugged it gently to remove it, until it stopped. I figured, that's strange, dental floss should just slide right out!! Well, I figured I'd "man-up" and take care of business, so I wrapped the floss around one of my fingers and slowly yet firmly pulled while Ozzy whimpered and eventually, out popped a Disneyland keychain wrapped up in the other end of the floss that was about the size of a business card!!!! Needless to say, my daughter didn't want it anymore;)

Ok, back on topic!!
