I've seen differences in the new Delica/Endura FFG "Blue" models. More to the point, on the Spyderco website the "Blue" seems to look more Teal, where as on other peoples sites for advertising the "Blue" looks a True-Blue in color. Are there different batches of these knives with different shades of Blue? I'd like to find out because I'm interested in the True-Blue model, but don't want to get "stuck" with a Teal model. What are people seeing?

Lighting can make a huge difference in the appearance of things.

AFAIK, there is only one color. I'd call it teal blue. It has more of a greenish tint than the blue Yojimbo or Dodo, for example. I like it, but if you're looking for true blue, it may not be for you.

You could always dye it a darker blue using RIT fabric dye.
Of course, it's kind of a crap shoot as to exactly what color you'll end up with, but you'll be sure to be the only guy on the block with a knife that color.

Unit is exactly right and with the photographs to prove it. When I'm in bad lighting my blue delica looks more royal blue. When I'm outside it looks baby blue/teal. I think it is a great color, especially with a nice polished clip.

That is what I like about these particular knives...they seem to change color.

Check out the purple!

I love the purple. I wish I could turn off these NYC laws like flipping a light switch.

I really like them. I would get one delica and one endura of these if I could.

I really like them. When I was first looking into them every review I saw the colors looked different. Ha, it was actually your pictures when you first put them up online that I turned to as a reference for true colors.

Appreciate it!

I know what you mean. Pictures dont do them justice. When I first heard of the brown one I flipped and thought it would look too cool. But the initial pictures made it look more of a milk chocolate looking brown and I was out. But then I saw one at a gun show and it looks SO much better. Much more coyote-ish.

That's about the best photo representation of the new FFG models i have seen.

They're nice. Buy one in each color.

Thanks. I did a few videos on these knives too and the first few I did indoors and later opted to re-shoot them all outside. I really hate to photograph or film these things indoors...it is like trying to bring a rainbow inside LOL.

Ha I know what you mean. These knives were meant to have natural light on them.
