I wanted to start a thread to see what most of you carry for your custom EDC knives and what do you use them on(for).
My Custom EDC is a CQC 5. I somtimes sub in managing a camp ground that my cousin owns. This knife sees a lot of use there. I use it on almost every cutting chore. Some of the things ive used it for was to cut branches, scrape gum from under the picknic tables, cut pvc pipe, cut and trim dripping systems, cutting rops, opening packages for mail, fertilizer, fly traps, and many many more things. Please post a picture and a small description of what you use your knives on.

heres mine:D:D:D

Most of my EDC's are small 6"ish Fixed Blades carried in a pocket sheath. I have several but my favorite is a Mike Lovett City Knife

At work I have my Fireant & Mini Whiplash. At home, I have my Matt Cucchiara Mini Scrapper Gecko & Fireant.

My favorite and most used is a Little Prick from Scott Tanguay. It's a mean slicing machine!

I don't really carry a knife on a daily basis, but these are my customs that see use. The rest are safe queens. :o

roger...i'll never get tired of seeing that foster damascus knife....i don't have any pics but i carry damascus neck knives by murray carter m.s......i have a few that i rotate between......ryan

Dave Farmer EDC (1095 and cocobolo), Jim Rehrer EDC (O1 and maple), Butch Harner EDC (D2 and cocobolo). Scott Gossman PSK, (O1) in his shop getting mesquite handles. Gonna get a Barker Houndstooth in January (154CM with green micarta handles). Have another Farmer EDC, smaller, getting a kydex sheath, and will probably get a Gossman PSK Jr, in December, 154CM steel with green micarta handles.

Oh yeah, I usually carry my David Farmer with me, or my Jim Rehrer. Butch's EDC/hunter has been out woodswalking a couple times.

I am a nut but know it. I carry a Ray
Cover, a Bob Ham and a Johny Stout, at least one, each day.

I carry a folder every day. Right now I rotate a small Anso, an Obenauf mini 2 and a large flat Mayo. The usage is mostly for eating at work :)

The Fitch has taken care of a couple deer,cut rope,meats & cheeses,cardboard boxes.Solid performer!:

Sorry about the pics, but here's a good one: In Calgary you can carry a knife, but only if it's not visible.
The only customs I use for EDC are an Ed Caffrey EBK 1 Drop Point
EBKIDroppt.jpg

- very good value and at just over 6" fits neatly in a pocket with a light sheath

and a Shiva Ki NM
zzz0001smaller.jpg

at 7 1/4" it's just slightly too big for most pockets.

Here's a poor picture of some of mine that see pocket and belt duty:

Peregrin - the buckeye burl on that Foster is just outrageous - do you have any more pics of that knife? Love the Bradshaw folder as well.

Doug - Matt will be very pleased to see that one get some use, I am sure.

Roger

I carry mostly slip joints and rotate between a Richard Rogers, Claude Montjoy, Bailey Bradshaw, P.J. Tomes. In addition a Carson lockback is always in my front right pocket.

Nothing very fancy in the fixed blade dept. but one that is special to me is a knife I got from Eric Chang. Some of the old members here will remember him. (hint: the Changbenza :D) He was a teenager when he made this one and it performs very well. I used it last weekend to cut ivy off the fence in the back yard. Worked about 4 hours with it and it was cutting strong the whole time without a touch up. I just sharpened it when I was finished.

Nice knifes guys. Especially like that one Mike is toting ;).

I tend to rotate through my customs EDCs, as each is a very different knife from the others. Depending on my mood, I'll carry my Bradshaw stag self-lock folder, a CH Morris folder, JW Smith tactical folder, or my only custom fixed blade carry--a Lin Rhea stag hunter.

Gary, I've always liked that Chamblin and Bradshaw self lock of yours.

Gus has too many nice knives and not enough pockets for all of his customs.

On-the-Edge, glad you are using that Smith if it's the same one that you bought from me.
