Hey Guy's/Gal's,

I thought it would be fun to see what some of us ESEE Head's/RAT Packer's do for a living, for me it's been 15+ years with AT&T as a outside field tech, I work both aerial, and underground plant, splice both copper, and fiber optic cables that feed city's and town's. Enough about me, like to hear for some of you, some pictures would be cool too!

Machinist
Certified CNC & Conventional.

Love the Lathe.

I recently had one and it got old and died on me, in the process of picking a new one up towards the first of February.

I would show some of my side work but you have to find it yourself on the forum......

Accounting software support for the last 20 years or so. Fixed hardware for a while before that.

I'm a 2 store/District manager for a large video rental retail chain. I EDC a folder and a multitool, but will likely swap out the folder for the Izula I've got coming in the next few days. So much work with the public just makes me cherish the time I get outdoors with my 6 where no one else goes.

Cellular sales, I manage a local agent. Been doing sales for 12 years, 10 in electronics, 2 in furniture... selling furniture was the worst 2 years of my life lol. Also recently married, have a 5 month old little girl, 2 cats and 2 dogs. All of which is plenty more than a full time job and I wouldn't trade it for the world. :)

I am a Geo-spatial Information System (GIS) Tech for an Engineering company. Not the most exciting job in the world but its different everyday, and I work with decent people. Can't beat that!

Iron worker/ Millwright / industrial mechanic 25 years - disabled due to bad back

Amen! That is one of the things I really like about my present job. The average seniority in my department is over 10 years. Some guys have been here over 25 years. I'm not quite the rookie with 8.5 years. That is almost unheard of in the software industry. It wouldn't be possible if we didn't respect and enjoy each other. Glad you found some nice folks where you work.

I have been a full time merchandiser with Pepsi for about 4 years. I also owned a coffee shop for 3 years with my wife that we sold last month.

Flexxx, you are my new best friend, I bought a brand new PM-1127-VF hobby lathe last year and am loving it, not that good with it yet but I'm getting there, oh I also have a mill to compliment the lathe...

Veterinarian, dogs/cats/exotics with a smattering of sheep thrown in. 13 years.

Not to go off topic too much, but if I brought you a mink that was clipped by a car would you reconginze it as a mink or call it a strange looking domestic ferret that clearly must have escaped from someones house? Oh what a day that was. :D

I get paid to give kids tube rides using a waverunner. You can't put a price on enjoying your job. :)
