Here's mine:

Original Swat boots
Coolmax Alta undergarments
Royal Robbins 5.11 pants
SOE rigger's belt
Blackhawk SOLAG half-finger gloves
Military boonie hat

My outfit is geared towards warm-weather outdoor activities, so I haven't listed any particular shirts or jackets. I usually wear an old cotton t-shirt and don't mind cuts and scrapes on my arms. I do mind hand injuries (annoying), hence the gloves.

The temperature dropped to zero here in Wisconsin, and then we got just enough snow and sleet to make my F-150 'float to the right' a few times. We cheeseheads dress for warmth. Today I'm wearing:

Crappy Sears jeans that cost 20 bucks, wear like iron and have lots of pockets.

A Strider AR.

A jean jacket with a thick quilted lining.

A double-layered knitted cap that my wife made for me over 15 years ago. It's the only cap I've ever worn that lets ZERO wind into my ears.

Teva Wraptor boots.

Lined kid leather gloves from Rundell's Clothing Store.

A crappy black T-shirt. (Old bikers never change.)

I don't think this get-up is going to get me on Entertainment Tonight.

(Oh yeah, and mirrored Uvex 2000 glasses to cut snow glare.)

For pur toughness i would have to say:

Danner FT lewis Steel toe boots
Thick wool socks
GI issue BDU pants
GI issue BDU shirt
M-65 Field coat
Blackhawk SOLAG Kevlar gloves
Boonie hat

Same as Frank for me although I go without flip flops (thongs we call em, Jandals to the Kiwi's) mostly. I like Columbia shots because they are fast drying and it takes me a year or two to wear a pair out. I've also recently discovered Watership hats. Waxed Cotton. Great for wearing out in the water and fairly cool and light for something so tough. Mine even stays on sometimes if I wipe out the sea Kayak in the surf.

Danner Arcadia boots
BDU pants
t-shirt
Body armor and LBE vest
Helmet
Oakley Slash glasses, clear
Knee and elbow pads, plus gloves

OR

Shorts
T-shirt, preferably one I got for free
Teva Teradactyls
Oakleys or Rudy Project shades
Sun glaring off my shaven dome :D

Of the two, I much prefer the second.

Hehe- like the guy says, my uniform. When I'm not working, I'm decidedly Un-tough, going for comfy sweats in the winter, and equally comfy shorts and t-shirts in the summer. Essentially, I'm a slob.

The only boots I own are big calf-high rubber ones for those rare big snows.

As a bicyclist, I spend a lot of time in lycra and coolmax!
