Where can I get a hawk like this?

Alright, So I'm looking for a good blade-smith that can make a custom Tomohawk for me. I was thinking something that looks like a regular throwing hawk, with a hammer on the other side of the head. I would like to get the entire head engraved with celtic symbols, If anyone knows a website or a person please let me know, Thanks

Ask in Shop Talk. There are a bunch of makers there who make hawks. They could do a hammer pole hawk for ya, and maybe the engraving too.

Bob Appleby has been posting some nice stuff at very inexpensive prices. I could make one but I would ask more than what Bob has been pricing his work at.

J. Neilson, Bill Buxton, Ray Richards, Gib Guignard . The list goes on. You cant go wrong with any of these guys. If you want engraving, you are talking work usually priced at $50 an hour or more just for the engraving alone. Hope this doesnt discourage your quest

I would go with bill buxton work have a few of his pices and am happy with his work now that he uses stanard drift pin all the better. I have some truble with my handle fit from one of hids old hawks but I love it. the work is masterfull bill does on hell of a job and is a true gentelman to deal with.
