Where do I find rag micarta?

Hi guys!

I have a field knife coming that I would like to finish out in Rag Micarta. I have been told that Rag Micarta is really hard to find. Any suggestions on where I should look or who I should call?

Production of rag Micarta ceased years ago. The only thing I could suggest is what you are doing now, and contacting as many makers as you know that don't use the internet. Someone might have a stash.

I've been looking for rag micarta for a while and I've only found enough for one set of folder scales. It seems to be pretty much tapped out, though I hear Tim Herman uses it for drill press shims.
