Where to buy RC-4?

I'm not familiar with a lot of the sites on the web but I get many of my knives from KnivesShipFree as well. Derrick is a great guy to buy from. His customer service can't be beat.

That corner store website never has anything in stock!! I would go with Derrick if it was me. My one experience with him has been outstanding and he will be the one shipping my my RC when I finally decide to pull the trigger.

I just thought that I would mention that I was going to go with two or three knives over this one but I read what the owner of RAT did for someone who broke the tip off of their knife and at that moment I knew that this was the kind of business that I wanted to give my money to.

just curious, did you get plain edge or combo edge RC-4?

I've been debating which one I would get, I usually lean towards plain edge but there has been times where I wish my knife had some serrations.

Could it be because the prices are good?

At least you know their knives will be fresh!

Derrick at KSF is a fellow Bladeforums member who got his start right here. Everything on his site is in stock and his shipping is insanely fast.

I ordered a knife from him in NJ the night before I moved to Texas. I woke up the next day at 4am and started driving. Stayed one night in Ga. and arrived at my new home on the third day with the knife waiting in the mailbox. Crazy fast shipping.

He has also gone above and beyond and tracked down knives for me that he didn't have on his site as well as been a go-between for me to a maker with an issue.

You get what you pay for. In this case, a few extra bucks is well worth the great service.

I got the plain edge because this is going to be more of a survival/hiking knife. I also carry a gerber multitool with me that has a saw blade w/ serrations.

 for some odd reason everytime I go to cut something like grapevine, I always use my spydie and not my swiss army knife with a saw, :D I quess im just forgetfull or I enjoy opening up my para to much.

 Thanks for input.

Am I missing something?
There are a lot of different prices among internet sellers.
I always search several sites to get the best price.

;)I order from Derrick (KSF) due to a few reasons,:thumbup:Great guy,he & his wife run a great business,he is located in Oklahoma,he is close and ships quickly and his prices are fair to me and I do not hesitate to purchase from him..and if I need something I ask Derrick and he gets it and ships quickly.my business remains among friends and his items are in stock unless it is a clearly marked item for pre-order.

I ordered an orange handled RC-4 from yourcornerstore and they had it in stock and I got it to Tucson in two days. When I checked they had lots of RAT knifes in stock but not much else.

I wouldn't hesitate to order from them.
