Wow, Lyon, £50!
I have no ideas how expensive are such tools in UK but on the Net you probably could buy at least two for this amount.
FISKARS one works very nicely for me. It is not exactly folding, rather pulling out of the handle in straight direction. Very light, easy to use and cuts pretty decently as to its dimensions. You can find it also at GERBER web site as Sport Saw.
Take a look here.

I have just ordered the laplander folding saw after seeing some good reports on it. Although I can say that the price varied alot. On the Ray Mears site they wanted £30 including p+p I evenually found it on a hard ware site online for £16.85 and with p+p £21 so it pays to shop around.

Felco makes a very nice traditional Japanese style pruning saw. It is about the best you can find of that class :

Tashiro Hardware makes a high quality folding saw which has advantages over the Felco such as adjustable angle, and various blades. However it does have the big drawback that the tpi is very high. They don't offer a ~4-5 tpi blade which is what you would want for rough stock cutting :

The Sawvivor and Trailblazer are much larger saws which can offer greater performance, but are not in the same class as the above in terms of ease of carry :

I have used other cheaper saws such as those from Gerber and they are not in the same class.
