I'm shipping this one out tomorrow. I got some decent pictures of her tonight and I thought I would share.

The new owner wanted a folder for field dressing Elk and Deer. So this is what I made for him.

4 1/2" Drop Point Backpocket in D-2 (of course) with Sambar and Bullocks shield.

I call it my Whitetail Special ...lol.
Thanks for looking!

I like this one a lot. I love how everything is tapered so nicely down to the short, relatively thin bolster. A minimum of steel and weight, maximum of performance and comfort -- and it looks great too. Nice job! :thumbup:

Awesome Brent!

Someone's going to be very happy when this beauty arrives!:cool:
Very nice work!!:thumbup::thumbup:

I really appreciate the complements.

It's nice to be able to receive feed back from folk who know knives. Sometimes I'll show one to a friend or neighbor and they will just look at it like.... "hey I just saw one of those at wallmart".....oh well

Thanks again,

You said it: The handle taper and svelte bolster give that large, capable-looking work knife a fine sense of flow and elegance. There's nothing quite like a no-nonsense tool that looks like a work of art.
