Who else does custom stuff like Bandit Knives.I'm wanting to get carbon fiber scales but on my OutdoorEdge Magna and despite the GREAT work Bandit Knives does $75-$100 Labor plus the CF cost seems a little high to me,no disrespect.Any one else doing this type work??
Thanks,
Todd

Carbon fiber is kind of nasty to work with, and not real cheap. That price seems pretty fair, for materials and shipping, along wiht wear on belts drill bits and saw blades, and labor.
If you want to customize for cheap, try and do it yourself. Its a lot of fun once you get into it.
You can get different handle materials from:
www.texasknife.com
www.jantzsupply.com
www.halperntitanium.com
www.koval.com
Carbon fiber probably isn't the easiest stuff to start with, but stabilized wood, bone, or micarta are all easy and look sharp.

Thanks for all the info guys!!! I got to surfing the net and and doing alot of reading about CF and yeah Bantid is fair priced!! I didn't know how much of a pain it is to work with.I think I'll just get a CF Civilan to get me past the Carbon Fiber want!! And try to do the Magna in polished G10 myself:)

Todd,

Try to contact Stripper28 here on the forums . He has done a few mods for me and is a great guy to deal with . I have a LCC I want him to do , He does really fine work and is very fair in the price department .
