Who here would buy a 4" blade Native?

I love my Native, but would like to see a larger version made. If you have any interest in a new Spydie like this, please reply to this post. I bet sal will appreciate the demand (if there is as much as I think there will be), and maybe we will have yet another sharp toy to play with.

Not me. I saw the large Native at last years Blade show. Didn't appeal to me. I would rather have the Calypso. Now that was a knife!!

I like bigger knives, and I believe a 4" Native would be nice... Though a LW Calypso would also be very attractive (maybe even more so).

If I remember correctly, the large Native would be called the "Native Pride". I think that's an improvement over the name "Chief", which invoked unpleasant stereotypes.

The knife looks really cool and I think it's a good idea, but I'm honestly not sure I'd buy one. I guess I'd have to handle it first. There are just so many 4" folders on the market; can't have them all.

Of course you can have them all, just not at the same time you have a house, a car, or a wife. At least that's my experience. Do I sense a country-western song coming on.....

I like the one I handled at Blade. Too bad Sal wasn't selling what I wanted to buy.

As far as name, yes, it got a bit controversial. Frankly, I dont' care what it's call -- Native Pride, Chief, or even Sing... Heck, I buy it.

I would buy it in a heartbeat. I don't give a damn what it's called. I would buy a larger version as well if only it were legal to carry here. If the large Native is built it will be my next knife. Is that positive enough?

Just out of curiosity, why was Chief offensive? I'm not trolling, just wondering. I thought most Native American cultures were tribal and had a chief of some sort or another. Educate the redneck.

The best I remember, no one that actually had any native American blood in them had any problem with the name Chief. But, I may remember incorrectly.

I know I certainly like the name Chief, as I do the knife. Hopefully, when it comes out, it will be in VG10 or ATS-55 (or even -34), instead of 440V.
