How many soldier / standard issue knives have Victorinox and Wenger sold since 1891?

I know victorinox sells alot more-
anyone know how I can get access to figures- I have been contacting Vic and Wenger directly- but they're tough to get to!

Well, Victorinox has some production figures up on their site. I don't know of any way one could figure it out just for the standard issue knives though.

Don't Vic and Wenger make the exact same number for the Swiss govt as part of a deal to include them both?...or am i making stuff up again. As far as soldier style models manufactured for retail sale, i really don't know. I have seen the Vic soldier a lot more often than the Wenger version, but that might have to do with where i shop. In other words, i can't be any help to you You might shoot an e-mail to each company. I'm sure they'd have pretty up to date figures on hand.
