Who makes a good eskabar sheath?

I've seen mention of custom holsters for the eskabar but I'm not sure what to get. I looked through the custom sheath maker thread and saw more than a few unfinished websites and email addresses. I want to make sure I'm getting something decent since I feel a little burned by Ka-bar/Becker. This knife is intended to be a daily carry, right side IWB, and I want some kind of plastic or kydex. I'd also like to keep the cost down since I already thought I had a sheath.

On a side note I'm a little surprised they're letting this sheath fiasco continue. I got the BK14 in Saturday and found it to be a decent knife with a razors edge. I popped a few hairs on my arm and felt satisfied it was among the sharpest knives I've owned. I put the blade in the sheath and wrapped the handle with paracord. I took it out and rubbed it on my arm and found it too dull to grab a single hair. I was stunned that the knife had gone from shaving sharp to dull as a butter knife without cutting anything. Come to find out this is a common problem.

Anyway rant aside, which one of these dozens of random internet dudes are good to work with? Considering how common this issue is maybe someone is just selling a standard BK14 sheath?

I took a small file, and rubbed down the edges on the inside of mine. Saved me some heartache, and money. It's now shaving sharp out of the sheath, can't go wrong there!

Thanks wildcat, I'll take a good look at their work.

As for the file trick, I've seen that suggested but wasn't sure if anyone had success with it. I'll have to give it a try right after I go out and buy a strop. I think I'll probably end up getting a replacement anyhow.

Thanks for the mention Wildcat!

I hear this alot but to tell you the truth the "glass-filled" nylon was/is only part of the problem... a poorly made Kydex sheath will "dull" you knife too if it comes into contact with the blade edge. So removing the glass only changed how quickly the dulling happens.... the blade just makes too much contact... and again this happens on alot of Kydex sheaths too.

This thread needs some pics:D

I've got more but I think that should be enough to get you started with ideas... the real key (imo) is get a sheath that works for your specific application. The EsKabar works great as a piggybacked knife too.

Yeah I really didn't expect it I've carried a Seal pup quite a bit in its kydex with out a dulling issue. I don't see the IWB Conceal Carry option on your pricelist. Is that just a clip accessory or a special order? Do you make anything for the BM Adamas or the Seal Pup?

its leather and not kydex, but check out Skystorm. He is on the forums here and also has a website. He makes a couple concealable sheaths for the bk14. Excellent craftsmanship.
