Wood is God's greatest creation IMHO. I think maybe the only reason he created man was to watch us discover the beauty in the things he made.

Get your orders in for the four blocks I was fortunate enough to get. Well. Place your orders for two of them. I'm keeping two for later. I'll be sending these out to WSSI for stabalizing. Premium quality handle material there brothers.

Are you sure they can be stabilized? From the links, sounds like it's very dense like ironwood...

How does the color compare to the curly maple I ordered? Maybe I'll change my order to this wood (depending on the cost I suppose).

Burls need stabalizing regardless of denisty. There are a lot of crazy forces at work in a burl. At least, thats my understanding. I'll ask when I pay.

Dunno really. close to 2" by 5.5".
 
They all look great ... just grab one at random for me. You can use it for my KPH ... or just hold onto it for whatever knives I order from you next.:D

Speaking of what God can do. As I think of my two pending purchases from you, I thank God for your skill as well my friend. Your ability to blend beauty and functionality together has really made me happy to be a knife junkie.
