Thinking about picking up one or two and getting the handles changed.
Important to me is whether or not the crossguard is metal.

Great knife in Carbon V steel, and probably pretty good in AUS8 too. The blades are thinner than you might think, which makes them less suitable for chopping, but more versatile for everything else. Mine is Carbon V and takes and holds a wicked edge. Easy to carry, since it is a good size, and not big honkin. The thinness of the steel stock helps in carry weight also. Currently, mine has no handle, since I planned on rehandling it. The entire handle and guard is one piece of hard rubber.

I've had two... one is still with me, although where it is I'm buggered if I know. :-p

Great knives. Like Danbo said, not super choppers because of thinness, but great everything else. If you sharpen the clip point (like I did on mine) it becomes a great fighter.

Mine is without a handle right now too, because I planned to rehandle it before it dissapeared in my junque.
Well, actually, it has the handle from a CS Recon Scout on it to give me an idea of how the sort of handle would feel. I took the handle off the Recon Scout (Gonna rehandle it too) and cut about half an inch off the front of it, so it wasnt too long for the tang on the BushRanger, and then I wrapped the Bush Ranger tang in electircal tape, so the larger hole in the Recon handle would fit the tang tightly, and stuck it on there.
With some curve to the BushRanger tang, it made a great handle... and will be the shape of the Micarta handle I'll put on the BS if I ever find it again.
Steel or titanium guard will be put on as well, in about the same style as the rubber original guard.
