WHY??

Why is the liner lock on the Commander so "sticky" and why does the blade screw come loose on so many of the Commanders that have been sold? My liner lock only seems to slip into place but on all of my Benchmades they snap in and do not stick. It is not because the liners are titanium because some of my Benchmades also have titanium liners. I had to use lock tite on my blade screw to stop it from always loosening up but it will be a hassle to work with if I ever need a repair. I really like this knife but these little problems add up. I probably shouldn't have bought a first run but I couldn't help myself.

I had the same problems with mine. But the liner did break in after some use. Have you checked out the newest release of Commanders. They have a different liner machined on the right side of the knife. I do not know exactly what this is for, but did post a question about it. Thanks, David
