Took a break from the tacticalish folders.

The blade is 3-1/4 inches of Eggerling Mosaic damascus. The blade pulls are 14K gold. The front and rear bolsters are also Eggerling mosaic damascus and the scales are Pen shell. The shell is dark but sometimes looks like tortoise shell. Fully fileworked liners, backbar and screws. The screws have been heat colored gold and the titanium liners and titanium backbar anodized bronze/gold in color. The bolsters and blade have been hot blued to bring out the pattern. The bolsters have more pattern not seen in the picture that is a darker steel and almost ghostlike in the bolster. Overall length is 7-1/2 inches. This is also a thin knife at about 1/4 thick overall.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

That's very nice. Visually I like the juxtaposition of the "filled-in" squares on the blade vs. the "empty" squares on the bolsters. Excellent material selection.

I love it Chuck. However I think I would like it better without the filework. Very Sleek and clean. Shawn

I personally love the filework, I think it goes well with all the other patterns on the knife. No matter what angle you look at it you see some kind of repeating pattern. Awesome!

Real clean knife. I would personally prefer a thumb stud but this definitely works. Like the file work.

The gold dots are positioned where you can open the knife with one hand. You pinch the blade with your thumb and middle finger to get it started and then use your thumb to open it the rest of the way.

Beautiful work. It'll be a while before I can buy knives at that level of materials and quality.

I'm normally not much of a fan of file work. I guess I could live with it on this knife. :)

The work on the liners is very attractive.

That is a definite eye catching design. I like everything you have done on it. I never liked wharncliff blades as much as other shapes but lately I have seen some really nice looking ones that make me want to own them.

This is one of those. I also like the different patterns you fileworked on the backspring.

Peter
