Wild Ivory

I was polishing some ivory last night that I bought on a trip to a remote Eskimo villiage and came up with these scales.I have never seen a set with colors quite like these.

My wife said it's probably Fossil Ivory, but that's even extreme for Fossil.

Man, those are great! I hate it, I keep getting outbid on eBay. Guess I gotta stop being so cheap.

I put this set and a mammoth tooth root up on eBay last night.The best place to buy ivory is at shows where you can hold it, but by the time it gets to the knifemaker it gets kind of expensive.Maybe I can get this Ebay thing to work.
