Ever since Connie designed the kitchen knives she has been bugging me to make her one of her own. Of course being the wonderfull husband that I am, I kept avoiding the issue, figuring it would go away. Wrong! Saturday she handed me a piece of paper with a drawing on it that said "make it, now!" Ok, no problem. This one is 9 3/4" long, with a 5 1/4" x 1/16" blade, 1 1/4" tall. It has the same handle shape and size of the utility knife. She calls this one her"veggie slicer."

ha.. that's great John... definitely sounds like my wife..:D

she did a nice job on the design, and you did an awesome job bringing it to life once again...:thumbup: i like it..:)

Your wife designs some good looking blades, John. If I could find employment:rolleyes:, Id get all the ladies in my life the complete "Connie Collection".

Well then, I sure hope you find employment soon! :D These have certainly not proved popular, people would rather spend $10 at Wal Mart on kitchen knives.

Hey John! You do have to be firm with those women some times but, I'd say she has done it again, so I would start listening a little closer to her if it was me! You should add that to the kitchen set and you should call it the Connie Kitchen Collection! Kind of funny the initials started out C & K anyway, don't you think? You have to pick your battles! Ha! Ha!

What the gal's want and what us old grumpy men want are normally quite different, until us grumpies see what the gals were talking about.....

I would most likely use all three of the Boss's designs more than any of my other knives, since most of the cutting work I do is in the kitchen.

I like the shape of the new blade, it looks handy.

How does the Boss feel about the inevitable patination of the 01 steel?
