Ok, so I didn't take any pics, but I visited the JK shop today and had a sit down with John.

Thank you John for inviting me over to take a look at a few of your wonderful blades.

I had my eyes on a couple different models and being able to visit and check them out in person helped me make my decision. Little did I know that I'd be deciding on ordering two knives when I went there with the notion I'd only be ordering one. I am such a knife novice I practically laughed at myself outloud when I was told I had a load of other decisions to make regarding both of the knives construction. Now, a lesson in patience while I wait. :D

I'm all excited & nope, I'm not yet telling what I've ordered.
 
It was good sitting around shooting the breeze, and helping you with your decision. Always enjoy having company!

Alright, alright... I opted for the Phoenix & an Anniversary EDC. Details forthcoming, I have some ice cold beverages waiting for me at a local bar. :cool:

I had a good relaxing time John, thank you, much appreciated. Now to find a DMT so I can work on "honing" those sharpening skills before I get the knives, lol. God forbid I am blessed with some beautiful JK creations and I dull them out by practicing sharpening, that's what the gerber paraframe and the couple other cheapo's are for. My pleasure & honor sir. :thumbup:

Stomper makes great knives.

I was up in your area for the parade and then the crosstown classic.

Good time, and had the cold beverages at the Sports Corner as usual! :thumbup: :D

You will LOVE the anniversary EDC! I'm waiting on a Phoenix right now.

Thanks mqqn. I can definitely see that, I went only to look at one, and ended up ordering 2. I can't wait... patience... must be some kind of life lesson, HA! It's only a virtue when it's not being tested, that's what I say.

That's cool, glad you enjoyed yourself. One of my brother's was on a rooftop for that 1st crosstown & who ended up sitting 5 seats down from him? Patrick Kane... I told him I wouldn't have recognized the guy if he was even sitting next to me, I'm so removed from the sports star world, lol.

Thanks mrbear & jds. I'm really looking forward to having them in my hands. Very nice EDC, it was so comfortable in my hand... What can I say, it beckoned for me to order one.

Now will come the fun part, learning how to sharpen a convex edge. Heck, I need to work on sharpening other edges too!

I was in the Ivy Club, on the roof, and Kane came up on the bleacher next door - I got several pictures of him -
