worst I lost was a custom Wally Hayes hideout in a tuxedo kydex pulldown sheath,:grumpy: someone swiped it at a job....and so it begins.

I lost a house, a car, and a bunch of furniture when I divorced my first wife.

The worst knife loss I ever had was losing a white micarta scaled, Jess Horn model Spyderco with a flat ground blade. I believe that I lost it in a hotel in South Africa. My wife gave me that knife on our first anniversary and although I always tell her that the fact I carried it meant that I really liked it, she still gets mad when she thinks about that knife.:(

Besides my mind? An old Western swept point hunter in carbon steel that my dad found while bear hunting in Washington state, about the time that I was born. Damn I wish I had that knife now!!!!!

At the age of 12 I was beachcombing in Ulster when I found, wedged between two boulders, an old brass ship's bell. It was about 6" tall and the bell flared out to about 5". Up one side ran a large, "L" shaped crack. It was beautifully patinated.

I kept it on display for years, both for its beauty and because it's the only thing of worth I've ever found while searching beaches.

Aged about 25, the last time I recall seeing it was when I took it over to the house of a girl I was courting. The relationship never amounted to anything, and I haven't seen the bell since.

I still miss it.

The worse thing I ever "lost" was my Grandmother a few years ago.:(.

As far as knives go, they can usually be replaced, but I can't really think of any knives that I've lost, (but then, I have lost my memory...Does THAT count?.:D.).

I just lost a Benchmade 43A last week. That's really ruined my week so far.:(

Kinda embarrasing

When i was a little kid i got this little stuffed dog when i bought a pair of hush puppies shoes. I named him "doggie" and slept with him every night till he dissapeared when i was about nine or ten. I still till this day do not know what happened to him and will kill the thief who took it.

Som rat bastid cabbie in Las Vegas now has a Chris Reeves knife at my expense.

But one that cost a little less, but hurt more was a William henry Carbon Fiber Lancet that is also now in the hands of some other slimy cabbie in Las Vegas!!! That one hurt more because like cut finger, my wife had given it to me for our first anniversary:(

My MaMa, PaPa, and my PaPa's Schrade Old Timer. I miss them, and wish I had that knife to remember them by... :(

That would have to be a hand made Danish free-form pipe with an amber neck piece a $375.00 pipe. I layed it on the roof of my car, opened the passengers door for my wife, got in and drove off at a rather sedate pace, made a turn at the corner and heard and immediately knew what it was I hearing sliding on the roof, I looked in my mirror just in time to see a car drive directly over it and shattered it into expensive wood splinters. That is the thing. I lost both parents so that is my worst loss to date of priceless possessions if one can consider your parents as possessions. You don't own them but losing them hurts more than almost anything else short of losing a child.

:( :( :(

I've never worn much jewelry, but the stuff I've owned, I've lost.

I lost a College Football National Championship ring (1975 University of Ottawa, Canada "GeeGee's" ;) ) and then a couple of years later I lost a set of gold cufflinks which were made made to match the ring (I nearly never wear cufflinks). Sad thing is, both were left in hotel rooms, while on business trips. Front desk clerk: "Why no sir, we haven't found any ring or cufflinks." geegee

OK:

1. ARC AAA Limeted Edition
2. SAK Classic Red handles
3. Photon II
4. Last night my best friend (female) was playing with my keys, tossed them into her car and now we have no idea where they are...
so that adds:
I. Origional copy of Car Key
II. My only key for my work
III. My Leatherman Micra
IV. My only copy of my house key (had to make a copy of my sisters)
V. My remote for my car doors.
VI. That cool little break apart key chain...

Ugh...shes lucky shes my best friend...:)

Hate to be a narc, but it was your parents. Your beloved toy became a snot stained, germ ridden rag that they threw away. Interagate them properly, they'll confess!

I think I would have puked :barf:. My pipes are like my children.

I don't tend to misplace or lose things but, like a few others here, I often wonder what became of my Boy Scout Knife:confused:

I still have my Boy Scout Knife and all of (well that I remember) my scout stuff even my cub scout cap and shirt and cub scout album Thanks Mom for saving them for me.BTW Matches I dang near did. But got the mrs. permission to replace it with a similar one but if your familiar with danish free-forms.similar is a relative term no two look alike so one of a kind has a definite meaning.

I am very familiar with Danish freehands although I have none. To anyone who isn't aware...you can get another free hand...BUT IT JUST WON'T BE THE SAME! :( :barf: :( :barf:
