You really don't want to become known as the "Teasin' Damascus Dork", do you?

When you finally get around to posting some real shots of that beauty, do us a favor and throw some specs up there along with it. Or are you gonna make us fill in the blanks :(

OK, I have one last picture of this knife.

I can't really post the specs right now because I don't have the knife with me. Further, I don't evenknow much about the materials - it's kind of an odd story how I wound up with it in my posession, but I do intend to research it a bit more (re: blade and handle material and the techniques employed by the maker). But I do know this - the damascus was forged and knife made by a relatively new maker named Jason Tiensvold. Jason is in his late twenties and has only been doing this for a few years, but his damascus patterns and workmanship are exceptional. He's a member of the ABS, and I have a feeling we'll be hearing a lot more about his work in the years to come.

Wulf,

I'm not quite sure if I like it or not. Better send it to me for a closer look ;)

BASTID!!!

Come and get it Neil. :) Or, if you'd prefer not to spend the time or money to come all the way up to Vermont, then I might be able to think of something you could send me for a closer look as well. I'll give you a hint - it rhymes with the name of that famous Brazilian soccer player :D
