I have finally been able to work on this latest batch of WWIII’s and four other Kuk’s from Craig as well.

I am fairly certain that I will be shipping middle to end of next week on these items.

The batch includes blade #’s:
1; 3; 8; 9; 19; 29; 33; 36; 37; 38 and 4 others.

Fantastic! But I'm not really sure if I'm 32 or 38 (38 being a replacement for 32 because of experimentation?).

Craig, is this the last batch that Scott is refering to or is there one more batch to be sent to Edgeworks after this?

"President Clinton learned there were 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado. Since Clinton was so upset with ranchers' protests over his grazing policies, he told U.S. Secretary of Interior Bruce Babbitt to fire half the cattle guards immediately. Before Babbitt could proceed with the President's wishes, Colorado representative Pat Schroeder intervened with a request that before any were fired, they would be given six months of retraining."

X-head: Funny! There is one more batch yet to be finished by Robert Couture (the handle guy). They should soon be at Edgeworks, and then on to the most patient people I've ever met: the forumites who ordered WWIIIs almost one year ago! We're in the back stretch, fellas.

Well, I hate to compromise our well-deserved reputation for patience

, but I am curious as to whether the WWIIIs Scott mentioned in his posting have shipped from EdgeWorks yet. As always, I don't mind waiting a little longer, but I'm still anxious to get my hands on one of these babies

. Eagerly awaiting the delivery of #8...

There has been a delay on my end.

The sheaths are finished however, webbing portion, which I outsource to sewing shop has not been delivered. I was not able to get up with them all last week. I expect to talk with them Monday. As soon as that component arrives the sheaths will ship.

Web parts are now in the shop. We will be installing them today. Will probably ship tomorrow.

I'm not getting one of these (and not in the market for one), but with all the buildup over these could someone post a pic of the finished product when they come in? I'm dyin' to see what the rigs look like...

Snuffy,
If someone doesn't beat me to it, I'll post a scan when mine arrives (my camera isn't worth fooling with). In the meantime, here is a link to pix of the prototype rig.

Thanks Berk,
I can see why everyone's wound up - those are real nice, and the quick draw slot is a feature I'd never have thought of. I look forward to seeing a pic of the final item. Will they carry the chakmak/karda? I can't tell from the prototype...

Ahhhh, #3 is headed my way. Polished, deep-luster blued with white handle slabs. Just the ticket for those special fashion situations where your standard weaponry styles just won't do.

Notes to self:

(1) Find and polish dress shoes.
(2) Buy a tie.
(3) Check date of next gun club dinner.

Gee, I know Blackdog, Craig and I have the white on blue... anyone else have this stylish combo? Makes me want the imatation Ivory or white micarta for one of my blued .45's... That would be what to wear to the next banquet!
