I'm very happy right now, and a proud owner of a small classic sebbie.
I don't really know what to say right now. I guess QUALITY sums it up nicely. Nicest knife I own.

Thanks to True North Knives for great service :D :D :D

Congratulations! And welcome to the rank and order of the Sebenzanistas. You will be tested by many, claiming that you are crazy spending that much on a "production" knife. You might even hear the term "Grey ****" tossed about. But never surrender. Just ease it open, until you hear that solid *clunk* of the lock, and smile smile smile...

:D

A small line drive Sebenza is part of my EDC. You won't believe how much money you just saved! No more "production" knives for you. Well, maybe just a couple ;). Start saving for the "Handmade/Custom" knives.

Of course, if you want a "Handmade" knife with the same quality, fit/finish, materials, warranty, etc.... the price starts around $500.00.

I guess that's why all my "Handmade/Custom" knives are fixed blades ;)

Thanks for the welcome into "Sebenzanista".
Cutiger, it's hard for me to believe that any other knife could come close to this quality for this price, I'd give it a 15/10.
I can't stop smiling now, and I think I'm in love:)

I keep thinking about getting one myself, I probably should just break down and get one.

You have made a very wise move.;) You will never regret it. The rock-solid quality is always there. Carry it and use it in good health.:)

I made a trade for a large decorated, and it's being refurbished right now. As it was sent to Reeve directly from the original owner, I still haven't seen it yet. As you can imagine, I'm pretty excited right now. The wait is about to kill me. What's the turn around time on a refurb. anyway? Keep in mind that it's decorated. I guess I'll head over to the Reeve's forum to ask about this.

Hope you continue to enjoy the knife!

Daniel,
Last time I talked to Chris Reeve he said refurby time was about 18 months.......just kiding. Let us know how you like it. Perhaps A Gary Graley belt sheath to carry it in?

You may wind up saving a ton of money in the long run. You'll find out that the newest folders don't look so great!!!

I've been one of those somewhat skeptical about using S30V at 58-59 RC, so I decided to put my money where my mouth (or keyboard) was. My large Classic with Ebony inlays came a few days ago. Damn, that's a pretty knife. However, I got it as a working EDC, so I'll report back in a few months as to how the S30V blade performs. (hmmm - anyone out there have a good recipe for crow, just in case?)

chad234, you said it well,

"You may wind up saving a ton of money in the long run"

Key word is "MAY", I won't be spending much money on other production knives, but I'm already thinking of what my next Sebbie will be.
WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO?????? At least it's a disease with good knives to show for it:rolleyes: :D :D :D

Congrats :) Don't own any personally but there is nothing like getting a long awaited knife

Held a few at some shows, nice little knives.....
