Okay, I've been watching these forums lately, and I've seen some freebies given away. Now, I just reached my 1000th post, and I think I need to give back to this place a bit.

So, the first person to list my two favorite knives will receive a Large Boker Top Loc knife, with burl inserts. Okay, it's not the greatest knife, but is is pretty classy looking. It's LNIB condition.

Anyway, my profile isn't up to date, so it may be wrong. You'll have to do a search on my posts!!!! (Yes, that's cruel, but I am devious!)

So, either you get a good guess, or you take the time to get to know me a little better. I never said I was easy!:p:D:D:eek:

Your two favorite knives are the Al Mar SERE 2000 and the Benchmade 710...Those also happen to be my 2 favorite knives, but I know I'm right on this, even if you don't agree with me.:D.
 
Nice try Glockmann, but how about this:

I have to admit that I put my Limited Edition 730CFHS to use as a beater knife like blademan 13. It just looks like it's made for hard work. This one has been the only knife I have to give my LCC D/A a run for hard-use-EDC position.

And:

I'll put another vote in for the Benchmade 710HS. M2 is pretty tough, and holds an edge forever. There may be a slightly higher risk for chipping, but I haven't seen any evidence for that. I have a BM 730CFHS with M2, and it's a beautiful and stout EDC.

Okay, now what's your favorite knife to Knifesturbate with? No, it's not a dirty question. We all do it. It's not like we have to hide the fact, do we? Anyway, what's your favorite knife to play with while watching TV, surfing the net, or whatever? I know there will be several Balisong fans, as well as auto lovers. I myself, prefer a nice OTF (Out The Front) auto, esp. my MT Scarab. I just love the sound and feel of the powerful spring slamming that blade out and back in. Repeat ad infinitum. So what do you guys use? DD

Hey DD, back in the day wasn't it a ProTec Runt and the pearl BM 850 done from rec.knives? ;) Didn't you end up with one of those crazy blue anodized space ship looking double edge things that came in the wood box too? ;)

Well, congrats to KennyC. Thanks for taking the time to look up the stuff.

I'll admit that I have a few knives in the top five, but KennyC got the top two.

Jakal, I actually traded the 850 pearl rec.knives for the LCC D/A that has been my main EDC for almost 3 years. The CAS starship knife, I didn't end up buying 'til last year, and I had that for all of 2 months. In a long convoluted sort of way, that helped me get the Scarab. I still carry that Protech Runt! Got two kids now, and a 3rd on the way.
