If anyone out there is very pleased or very disappointed after having a clip put on their pocket hobbit, please detail the reasons why.
I'd really like a pocket hobbit, but don't think the sheath is practical. I live in a major metropolitan area and need something low profile. So I would like to put a pocket clip on my pocket hobbit when I get one.
Given the reverse grip nature of this blade, and the nature of how it is deployed with a flick the wrist, would having a clip put on be a real degradation of the knife? I know deploying from a back or front pocket is nowhere near as smoothe or as fast as the sheath, but you have to let your environment dictate your carry style, and a sheath is too much of an eyecatcher around here. Especially in close quarters such as on the train or on busses.
This is without a doubt-IMHO-the best fighting folder out there and I really want one, but need to know if I'm going to screw it up by putting a clip on.
Anyway, please help me--and hopefully some others--by detailing your good and bad stories about pocket hobbits with clips.
Thanks guys!
