Hey, ive looked around for some answer but ive yet to find one that works... so i got my 0560 this week and when i got it out of the box the lockup wasn't sticky. but the bearings were gritty s i took it down and cleaned all the parks and lubbed it and got some lube on the tang i guess and now if i give it a decent flick i can hardly close it and my fingers are killing me. i tried disassembling again and no lube but its still sticky... any helps? also i have tried pencil lead however this didnt help :(

Just clean the lockbar and contact alot then use a sharpie instead of the pencil... also use it alot to break it in... then it will be perfect

Interesting, I am going to have to make note of this :)

I am glad that it worked out for you.

Glad it worked!... I use Sharpie on all my knives that are new and seems to work. I do it once a month just to keep it perfect.

So you're coloring the face of the tang where the lock-bar contacts it with a Sharpie?

I've had a few Framelock folders that have Sharpie on the end of the lockbar (along the edge where it makes contact with the blade tang) new out of the box. It seems to work and apparently someone at the factory knew it could be helpful.
Glad your problem is solved! Enjoy that knife, it's a sweet one.

Interesting and simple fix, what exactly does the sharpie do, make the surface more "grippy"?

less grippy it acts almost like graphite which has been known to help with sticky locks for years, sharpie is a whole lot cleaner and no lead shavings to gunk up pivots
